Young Professionals

As a movement of business people, professionals and marketplace leaders seeking to wholeheartedly live their life with Christ as their Lord, the Genesis Network recognises the unique needs and opportunities within the Young Professional age bracket.

We seek to equip and encourage Young Professionals to tackle workplace challenges and opportunities in a Christ honouring way.

  • Q. Do you ever struggle to navigate some of the big cultural issues in work from a Biblical perspective?

  • Q. Do you wonder how you can be yourself in the workplace?

  • Q. Are you challenged by how you can use your work as a place of ministry?

We want to build a community of Young Professionals to support, encourage and challenge each other.

Young Professionals is an integral part of the Genesis Network as we seek to use the experiences of others to equip this evolving community.

Here are our upcoming events for 2022. Take a look and sign up below. We look forward to welcoming you!

June 2022: ‘In Conversation’

Tackling workplace challenges and opportunities in a God honouring way can be a frustrating and lonely experience, especially in the early stages of your career.

We will explore some of these challenges with Ewan Boyle, Director at Johnston Campbell Ltd and Scott Davison, Group Business Process Improvement Manager at Haldane Fisher.

September 2022: What if I get it wrong…

“What happens when I get it wrong? How do I be me in the workplace?”

When we look back on decisions and actions within our roles in the marketplace, it’s often easy to see where we could have done things differently.

David Martin will explore - in conversation with our young professionals - how to approach the topic of being authentic. We look forward to him sharing thoughts on how we approach the topic with humility in a God honouring way.
